Brisa Calleri is an actress graduated in Decroux's Corporeal Dramatic Mime in the "Ecole International de mime corporeal dramatique" in Paris with Ivan Bacciocchi.



Brisa Calleri is an actress and dancer who graduated from the University Univercidade (Drama) and the Laranjeiras Arts Centre (CAL) and also trained in contemporary dance at the Angel Vianna school, and majored in acting for TV and film at Artscênicas. Her career in theater began in 1993 at Tablado, where she acted in a few children’s plays, later she was in the musical "Raul Outlaw", which ran for two years, and "For the innocent who stayed at home, with director Roberto Bomtempo. She was a member of the troupe headed by Bomtempo, called Bomtempo Cia. Later he was part of theatrical performances, "The Dream" directed by Moacyr Góes and "Today is Rock" directed by Marcus Vinicius Faustini, "Vinicius de Morais " and "Quebramar directed by Renato Farias, “Blood Wedding" and "Moliere’s School” directed by Amir Haddad. She was part of a dance company called "The Name" which held many performances at Sergio Porto Cultural Centre, featuring poets and musicians at an event called Cep 2000. 

She also was part of the poster dance show "About one" with the direction of singer and artist Ney Matogrosso. The show had its premiere in the city of Rio de Janeiro and then was on show in São Paulo. The performance was later made into "The Island" at the Arts Festival called Riocenacontemporânea. Her experience in Theatre and Dance has made taken her to become a Movement Director, working in some theatrical performances as "Almonds and Snails", directed by Camila Diehl, "Wanted," directed by Diogo Beijamim, "Desperate" 
direction Fernando Ceylon, "The Fable of Toys" directed by Henry Lee and "Hot Love" with the direction of artist and singer Ney Matogrosso. 

 She took courses in Dramatic Corporal Mime with Stéphane Brondt (Amok Co.) and Ana Teixeira, and "Theater Sign Language" (which was based on the Body Mimica Drama) with actors André Curti and Artur Ribeiro (Dos a-deux Company), did some workshops such as, "The Frontier Corps" directed by actor Renato Ferracini (Cia Lume). In addition to a course of Body Preparation for film with Sergio Penna and "The Essential Theatre" Denise Stoklos. She taught Body Preparation for actors at the Cultural House Bomtempo and lectures and  workshops at the Dramatic Carioca with actor Silvinho Guindani. Besides giving a workshop at the SESC Petropolis called "The Actor and the Body." She has already taught ballet, jazz and stretching at Marina Barra Club. In cinema as an actress she made the short, "Occupation Voyer" directed by Carlos Mossy, "Aurelia" directed by Augusto Garcia, "Beer" directed by Sonia Martins and a feature film called "The Breast of God", directed by Alberto Save.


Currently she is the founder of Redemoinho (Windmill Network), which has five artists from different areas delivering lectures on theater, dance, recycling, gardening and cinema in a Rural Settlement in Campo Alegre. She is also part of Second Shift Cultural Project, a partnership with the Department of Books and Reading and the Education Department (in partnership with the State Government), conducting short courses in municipal schools in slums and poor communities. She’s also produced short films: "Chegança", "A Lot Now (Vidigal favela), "Childhood" (Irajá slum) and "Hill on the hill" (Batan favela), to name a few.
